What is Microblading?
Microblading is a permanent cosmetic tattooing technique used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows. It is popular for its ability to fill in sparse brows, redefine shape, and create a more symmetrical and polished appearance overall. During a microblading procedure, our trained technicians use a handheld tool with ultra-fine needles to create thin, hair-like strokes on the skin. This tool deposits pigment into the upper layers of the dermis. As a result of this process, individuals can enjoy the appearance of natural-looking, fuller brows, which may endure for a duration ranging from one to three years. The longevity is contingent upon factors like skin type, lifestyle, and the quality of aftercare. Color boosts needed after 1-3 years.
Techniques for Flawless Eyebrows
Which technique is right for you? Microblading, Powder Brow, Ombre, or Combo
There are several techniques used in doing eyebrows to achieve different results and cater to individual preferences. Each technique can be customized to suit the client’s facial features, skin type, and desired outcome, allowing for personalized and tailored results. Therefore, it’s essential to consult with a trained and experienced microblading artist to determine the most suitable technique for your individual needs.
Microblading Technique
The microblading technique is a meticulous process that involves using a handheld tool with ultra-fine needles to create thin, hair-like strokes on the skin. These strokes are carefully crafted to mimic the appearance of natural eyebrow hairs, enhancing the shape, fullness, and definition of the brows. The pigment is deposited into the skin’s upper layers, resulting in semi-permanent, natural-looking brows that can last for up to several years with proper care. This technique is ideal for those looking to fill in sparse brows, redefine their brow shape, or achieve a more symmetrical appearance.
Powder Brows Technique
This technique involves depositing pigment with a machine evenly across the brow area to create a soft, powdered effect. It’s suitable for clients who desire a more filled-in or makeup-like look and works well for all skin types, including oily or mature skin.
Ombre Brows Technique
The Ombre Brow technique involves creating a soft, gradient effect on the eyebrows, where the color is lighter at the front and gradually darkens towards the tail. This technique is achieved by depositing pigment more densely at the arch and tail of the brow, while keeping the front portion lighter and more subtle. The result is a natural-looking, filled-in brow with a soft, blended transition of color, resembling the subtle shading of an ombre hairstyle.
Combo Brows Technique
This method combines both microblading and powder techniques to achieve a balanced and natural-looking result. Hair strokes are typically created in the front of the brow for a realistic appearance, while the rest of the brow is filled in with a powdered effect. The powdered area can start anywhere from the outside of the bulb area all the way to the tail or just the tail area to give more definition.

To minimize the risk of brows getting wet while washing hair, it’s advisable to have freshly washed hair on the day of your procedure. You may also want to have some spray dry shampoo on hand.
“Eyebrows frame the face so why not have the best frame suited for your face. Before your procedure try putting makeup on a few different ways and take a picture. Having a hard time deciding what looks best? we will help you decide which shape, color, and technique is best for you. You are in good hands.” ~ Tina B.
