Dahnyel

APPRENTICE

Dahnyel’s career as a makeup artist began at the age of 11 when her Aunt took her to her very first cosmetics counter in Chicago. In college, Dahnyel dabbled in hair and makeup design, but it all began professionally at Sephora in 2006, where she learned invaluable skills and training. In 2010 she began focusing her beauty skills primarily on weddings and other special events from prom, bridal and baby showers to a girl’s night out and even Halloween. In the Fall of 2020 she switched gears to manage a doggie daycare, where her (now) 5 year old Australian Shepherd, and best bud, Duncan Eugene could live his best puppy life. As an avid animal lover it seemed like the perfect fit, however there was always something missing. After a lot of thought, Dahnyel made the decision to come back to the industry that has always had her heart. She will be visiting Kansas City weekly for training all the way from St. Louis and is beyond excited to start this new chapter in her life and cannot wait to help make you feel fabulous!
